Tapestry of Music present concerts on a variety of themes to suit their clients. Popular programmes include:

Medieval Programmes

Music for a medieval Christmas

These concerts include music for lutes, harps, oud, hurdy-gurdy, crumhorns, bagpipes, shawms, and gemshorm, and can be given with either two, three or four musicians. Booking details and fees are available on request.

Baroque Programmes

Music for a Georgian house
Men, music and manners of the 18th century
Musique Champetre

These concerts are given on a spinet, harpsichord or organ with celtic harp, viol, flutes, recorders, flogeolets, hurdy-gurdy, and musette de cour, and include many antique instruments.These are usually presented by two musicians. Booking details and fees are available on request.

In order to set the scene and make the music more accessible, programmes include quotations from contemporary writers, ranging from the menu ofor a feast of 1215, the gory details of crime and punishment in medieval times, or the art of correct deportment in polite society of the 18th century.
