All of the recordings on this double CD are taken from rehearsal sessions or concerts in the churches concerned, resulting in some interesting ambient noises - e.g. swallows flying around the church at Beeston St Lawrence, Norfolk on a fine sunny day or a passer-by dropping a coin into a collecting box during our rehersal. We hope that these noises do not detract from the listener's enjoyment. As a result of recording the same programme on different organs, some pieces appear twice.
